I'm certainly expecting I'll get larger! Toni - I'm expecting/hoping that my early career will mean I spend more time with hardware, which was one of the reasons I wanted a 'tough' ring that wouldn't get trashed when its bashed against a rack etc. But ultimately, yes I'll end up in an office, perhaps enjoying business class travel, can but hope! Before we were married I used to wear a skinny ring most of the time, but even that used to feel uncomfy with fluids from work underneath and wearing sweaty latex gloves. Once I started wearing the much wider wedding ring it all got too much, and I couldn't wear any at all. Since your career is primarily office based you shouldn't have quite the same problems I did, and it should all be quite doable. I think within a year you should be used to it. Just make sure it fits properly or it can be uncomfortable.
