I know for people who bought Tiger based Mac's just before Leopard was released there was a cheap upgrade so there might be an iLife type thing going on. If you're interested though, Ben and I have got the Mac Box Set Family edition, I'll email you the details. One of the big changes for me has been iPhoto 09 I came from 05/06 so the difference has been quite colossal and for me has been well worth the upgrade. Everything up and running fine now? I'm mildly grumpy that they emailed me to tell me that iLife '09 is now available 1 month after buying the new macbook, and it will cost me £69 for the privilege of upgrading. I like the look of the new features of Garageband, and iphoto '08 is so limited it really needs upgrading, but the rest I could leave unused (just like I do). So how did the install go?
