Just went to do a sync of my contacts and calender and, well, the calender is fine!
I can’t believe it, first off the contacts from the Mac went so I double checked the settings and put “add all mobile contacts to mac” or some such. Next, see Address Book is still empty and now so is my Mobile Contacts. Arrgh!
So sorry if anyone texts me and gets a reply “Who is this?”, but theres not too much I can do 
Guess I know what I’ll now be doing with my Thursday morning, ugh!

Thanks to the way Windows Mobile saves names to text messages permanently I’ve managed to retrieve about 40 names and mobile numbers but alas I’m going to have to go through and manually add email addresses etc.
