Ok, I don’t know which morning but one morning because on the 24th December 2007 at Kita’s Mums house with her parents, my parents and some of Kita’s other family I got down on one knee, asked the question and she said “Yes” 
It wasn’t quite as smooth as I’d hoped and planned or as much of a surprise but in the long run I doubt that will ever matter. In fact Kita still said it was perfect and in all honesty that’s all that mattered.
Kita’s Dad was there with his wife and hopefully that can be the start of something new between everyone and it was good that they could be there.
The last few days, speaking/asking Kita’s Mum and Dad have been some of the most nerve racking ever (thank you for your prayers) but it has all been worth it.
Merry 2007 Christmas, this will go down in history for us
