Worship practice this evening

18th April

I’ve seemingly ‘graduated’ from the worship training (although I think I’ll do it next year if I can as the teaching is very good) to the worship band and tonight was the first rehearsal I was part of and it’s sooo good :D

The worship band at King’s is very large and so it works on a rota system meaning I should get to play once a month or so which is really cool, I’m rather looking forward to Sunday. There is a downside in that it wont be week-in week-out playing but I think this will encourage me to make the most of the opportunity to play I do get.

What I really enjoyed this evening was that I could play with a guitarist and we would leave space for one another and it worked well, like I said I’m looking forward to Sunday to do it again, twice :) Morning and evening service, means a 9:30 start but it’s worth it, no doubt.

It’s good that I’m excited about playing and enjoying playing I just hope that I can continue off my own back for the next few weeks, I think it’ll be a challenge but with some prayer and keeping worship at the centre I should be able to.

God bless,

Dan

:D

Well done that man – glad it went well for you. Make sure you take the opportunity to press into God when you’re not playing, as you may be distracted somewhat when you are.

Will do, I try to and hopefully when I’m mic’ed my singing wont get picked up :S Think there’ll be space for a trumpet boy back at BCC?

You might have to watch the volume a bit, but space ready and waiting as far as I’m concerned.
