Seems that the Trafalgar water saga will continue beyond my occupancy there.
Over Easter another pipe burst (shock horror!) and this time took the laundry room with it. The pipe is in an inaccessible place and would require water to be shut off to the building for a further 3 days or so. Rather than do that we have no laundry room in Trafalgar and have to go for a walk to another halls to do our washing. Now I accept that, that is the best way to resolve the issue (no-one wants to lose water for 3 days again nor pay compensation for a full building, remember over Easter the majority go home) however I am due to pay my rent for the next 8 weeks and funnily enough I don’t feel I’m getting my moneys worth.
Am I being picky or money grabbing? Or do I make a fair point and one that should be resolved in a fairer way to the occupants of the building?
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.

It is frustrating…I am dreading the next time I have to do washing, but buying 6 weeks worth of clothes seems a bit excessive. I think you are making a fair point, but it is hard to see what solution can be found other that the one provided… We will just have to wait and see what the rest of the term holds….oh fun!! :P
