Ok it’s late as I’ve been back since Friday but better late than never! I tried to write this at work yesterday but work got far too busy just as I logged into the admin area :’(
The Easter break went so quickly and there was a lot of stuff I didn’t get to fill in (sorry Toni & Chris) but on the plus side it’s only 8 weeks till the Summer holidays :D. Talking of which Kita and I have booked our tickets to Munich for a week in Germany when I get back which I must admit I am rather looking forward to, Johanna if you’re reading this I’ll drop you an email or chat on MSN and let you know some dates.
As I said earlier the break went quickly, very quickly but I managed to fit a fair chunk in; parties, BBQ, a heck of a lot of gardening, catching up with Kita (living normally again), catching up with friends, Church (including various groups) and spending a lot of the time on the road between Shipton-on-Cherwell and Bicester, Tesco’s fuel station loved me, the environment (or bank) probably didn’t!
The downside to being busy though is I think I had only one lay-in but oddly I feel very rejuvenated. At a guess I would say it was the break from the way I had been living and also I seem to feel healthier and more active outside so doing gardening and mowing the lawn was good for the body, excluding the hay fever! The other downside is I didn’t get any work at all done, although I don’t think it matters too much as Ben and I seem to be ahead and on top of our coursework but I do need to start planning for Student Cell on Tuesday, oops!
Final upside to the break, my break from the net! At most (excluding yesterday) I have been online for 3 hours and that net break seems to have been good
8 weeks left and I’m rather looking forward to them.
God bless,
Dan
