FWIW my parents used to buy it too, but it's slid a long way in the last 25 years. The Times and Independant are probably the only bearable papers available these days: everything else seems either written to support a line in politics or for 'Eastenders' viewers. If I were feeling mean I’d say “Inky, elocution courtesy of the daily mail” but I’m not nasty like that.
